IB Test Build Releases

I'll post each test build here for one stop easy shopping. The stable builds (non-test builds) will be posted to the NW Vault.

FOR v0.0.199
GAME ENGINE FEATURES
+[Done] finesse weapons
+[Done] critical hits doing more damage based on weapon's multiplier
+[Done] threat range based on weapon or effect bonus
+[Done] add drain/transfer HP and SP system (good for vampiric touch, energy drain, etc.)
+[Done] have option for spells that require a successful attack roll (ex. eldritch blast, shocking grasp, vampiric touch, etc.)

BUG FIX LIST
+[Done] tall token draw issue (make sure and assign a creature size in the creature's properties)
+[Done] make sure SP can't be less than zero after character creation

ENGINE/TOOLSET FEATURES
+[Done] mirror image spell that checks upon hit to remove one image
+[Done] stone skin spell that removes HP from the spell effect until all are gone.
+[Done] number of uses per day/rest option for traits (lay on hands, rage, etc.)

Full speed ahead here :) . The feature and bug lists provide a very helpful overview. They also give confidence for the long term development of the project, well done :) .

Below is a hotfix (v1.0.201) for the use per day crash when a PC is higher level than the Trait array is set-up for. I made a check for the array size first and if the array is smaller than the PC level, the code will use the last entry in the array instead or zero if the array is empty.

Thanks, slowdive! I will check it out this weekend.

edit: I just wanted to confirm, the issue has been fixed. No more exceptions and the force rest script runs, with higher level party.

Thanks for checking this Dorateen and I'm glad to hear that it is working for you as well.


I have v1.0.202 ready for testing. I think I fixed the combat drawing of different creature sizes when not using the combat smooth move feature. Let me know if it works. Also, you will see the version number on the "select screen size" dialog box (bottom right) and also on the main launch screen (also in bottom right).

I have v1.0.203 ready for testing:

+[Done v203] issue with the inventory showing only the first 20 items. You can use the filter to show more.
+[Done v203] swift action, free action resets movement sometimes
+[Done v203] verify that all scripts are still there and working (from v195 to v200, something changed)

Thanks for v203 - going to upgrade from v199 this weekend :)
I'm taking another pass at character classes at the minute and I'm looking forward to adding x traits/day.
