Burrowing enemies and or combat invisibility

BJ and I are still cooperating on a module. One thing we're interested in doing is creating an original desert scavenging monster. We would like it to have a special ability to burrow underground and then attack.

I'm wondering if existing scripts are able to manage something like this yet. If not, I think we can convey the flavour of ability through narration. However it strikes me that if a stealth mode and backstab mechanic was in the works this would really just be a re-skin. Possibly simply adjust the animation to allow a monster to disappear from combat at range and the re-appear and attack a few turns later.

Stealth mode and sneak attacks are available in the last releases for PCS only. I'm working on the same for enemies so this should work for your creature. I will be using enemy thieves that need this in Lanterna. I also well be adding a dimension door spell for PCs and something similar for creatures. .. think phase spider kind of stuff.
