Started working on the app icon design for iOS. Apple does not allow you to use transparency/alpha for app icons so all icons will have a pre-defined rounded edge look. The app icon is actually square and then the rounded edges are applied automatically by iOS. Thoughts?

Very good goldbox vibe, l like it :) . The only thing that could be worth a try might bwe using some kind of frame line (thats is shaped from to square to rounded edge then). Red, black or silver migth work out. Maybe with a shadow effect so that the white plane with the token seems either elevated or lowered.

Today I worked a bit on IBbasic and the script descriptions and documentation that shows up in the toolset when working with conversation actions and conditionals. All the information that is in those script files in IB needs to be incorporated into the in-app toolset and eventually used to set-up the intelligent dropdowns for parameter selections. It is a lot of copying, pasting, and editing up front, but it will make life very easy for the builders in the long run.

That sounds like strenous work for sure, but will be really worth it. There's so much power in the scripts and without large screen and easy file access for reading it all up, it is crucial to have the info build in as conveniently as possible.

Took a quick break from all the script copy and paste work to add my iPad (5th gen) to the mix of deployable devices. I noticed that some of the UI was off when using the iPad 4:3 aspect ratio so I'm working on adjusting the system to better accommodate all aspect ratios. IBbasic looks and runs very well on the iPad. It will be very easy and fun to build modules for IBbasic on tablets.

Fixed all the UI issues with different aspect ratios and also finished all the script description info for the in-app toolset. Next, I need to verify that all the file handling is working properly for Android, iOS, and PC before I start building a test module.

Working my way through a number of bugs including fixed the minimap so that it works with 3d areas as well as 2d (oops, noticed the grid toggle is off but grid is showing...will fix). There is a FoW, but I already explored the area before the screeshot :D

EDIT:
Here is a large 2d area (20x20) with the minimap (and fixed the grid toggle issue as well)

Looks really cool. Having 2d maps (for eg the overworld) and 3d maps for dungeons or special places will allow for a very nice variety.

That looks so good, slowdive. Enjoy the way the 3d perspective and mini-map is coming along.
