Here I will report on any new features, bug fixes, and release notes. Also, here we can report bugs, suggest ideas and features, polish and ease of use suggestions, complaints :lol: , etc.

I'll continue to update this to thread with the latest links to the IBbasic app on PC, Android, and iOS.

Currently in Apple's testflight beta program. If you can test on an iOS device, send me a PM with your First and Last name and an email address.

Release Notes:
v12: Fixed some issues in the Raventhal: Fog of War distances in some areas, visible distances in some areas, spell ranges for Ezzbel's two spells were incorrect.
v11: Fixed a crash bug for some older android devices at start-up.
v10: I fixed a few bugs in The Raventhal and a few in the engine. I removed The Elderin Stone for now as it still needs some more work before it is really ready for testing.

I could not give a custom name to the player character in Raventhal (always Havel). Maybe this is intended?

Ah, good catch. I think I remember seeing this before, but forgot to write it down when I saw it.

Having great fun with pixel art editor :D ! Very intuitive to use, slick design.
1. Colors are a bit hard to select without stylus. Maybe double tap shows a full screen palette, enlarged?


Great points there and feature suggestions!
-On closing the app: I think the way to close the app on iOS is to hit home button, double tap home to see all open apps, swipe up to close apps.
-To return to the main splash screen in IBbasic: in the toolset, choose the exit button (open door with arrow pointing out) from the main menu. From in a module, click on the save game disk and choose "return to main menu".

Must say that the editor is pretty damn awesome, you've done a great and giant job.

There's just one bug that I keep encountering, when I press this button (guessing character editor), the app crashes every time. All the other editors are working fine for now

Ouch :lol:
If you are staying a new module that does not already have module characters created, the app crashes because I didn't handle the empty list scenario on that screen... Oops :oops:
I'll fix that for the next build.

Thank you so much for testing, bug hunting, and reporting back. It is a great help since we all have limited time with RL and all :D

A question was raised about the need for First and Last name plus email for Apple Testflight...it may be possible to put in a fake name, but the email is needed in order for Apple to send the invite to the testflight program for IBbasic.

Lists in toolset (eg item list or creature list) would benefit from scroll capability (maybe up and down arrow buttons left of the list). At the moment it seems an author has to fold all higher level categories in to get to the end of item/creature list.
